AVEDA’s new Invati product line is gaining media attention for its rave reviews from both salon professionals and daily users.

Invati is powered by the traditional wisdom of Ayurveda, and uses many herbs from organic and biodynamic  farms.  The word ‘invati’ means ‘invigorate’ in Sanskrit.  The Invati system consists of Exfoliating Shampoo, Thickening Conditioner, and a treatment, Scalp Revitalizer.

The service takes about 2 hours to complete, and will leave hair smooth and resistant to frizz, fly-aways and humidity for about 10 weeks or 30 shampoos.  AVEDA’s Texture Smoother is formaldehyde-free and gentle to the hair.  Tourmaline loosens natural curl while mineral sulfites smooth, and amino acids and enzymes lock in your new, smooth texture.  For most, Texture Smoother will reduce blow drying time.

Texture Smoother offers full-blown smoothness without the commitment of a permanent retexturizing treatment.  The hair will gradually revert back to its original texture all over, versus original texture only appearing on regrowth.

The Texture Smoother treatment includes a deep condition with AVEDA Damage Remedy Restructuring Conditioner with quinoa protein to strengthen, repair and re-moisturize the hair.  The treatment contains corn-derived humectants to leave the hair touchably smooth, and ylang ylang oil for a fragrant, floral aromatic experience.

After your treatment, it is recommended that you keep your hair as dry and straight as possible for at least 24 hours.  While you may have a color service performed before your smoothing treatment, you should wait one week to color the hair with permanent color after your smoothing treatment.
